Timg is a search tool. It lets you search Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay at the same time and see every result in one place. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.

What Timg stores

Timg does not have user accounts, and it does not run its own database of your activity. The only thing stored on your device is:

• Your theme preference (light or dark mode) — saved in your browser's local storage, and never sent anywhere.

That's it. No search history, no personal profile, no tracking cookies are set by Timg itself.

What happens when you search

When you type a search, Timg sends your search term directly to three third-party photo providers so it can show you their results. Each of these providers may log the request on their own servers, under their own privacy policies:

Timg doesn't control what these providers do with that request on their end — we'd recommend checking each provider's own privacy policy if you want the full picture of their data handling.

Downloads

When you download a photo through Timg, the image file is fetched directly from the provider's own servers to your device. Timg doesn't store a copy of any photo you download, and doesn't keep a record of what you've downloaded.

For Unsplash photos specifically, downloading also triggers a small tracking request to Unsplash's own servers — this is required by Unsplash's API terms and lets photographers get credit for downloads of their work. It doesn't send anything about you personally beyond the request itself.

Advertising

Timg run ads,and share data with advertisers. .

If how Timg handles data ever changes, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date at the top.
